Unity coming to Sony consoles this year
Sony Computer Entertainment and Unity Technologies are partnering to bring the Unity engine to developers so they can make games for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita and PlayStation Mobile.
According to an announcement made today by Unity Technologies’ CEO, David Helgason, all games built on Unity will be deployable to the Sony devices and Sony future cloud services.

Of Orcs and Men is a fantasy/RPG with a heavy influence taken from the classics of the genre, such as Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Now being developed by two indie studios (Cyanide Studios and Spiders Game) Of Orcs and Men shows all the promise but never really takes off. Power Up is a side scrolling shooter, very reminiscent to retros games such as R-Type and is the first game to be released by indie developer Psychotic Psoftware.
Psychotic Psoftware is not like your regular indie studio either, its basically a one-man game studio that is learning the ropes of building games. Power up will be their first fully fledged XBLA game.

A new rising indie development team called 3rd Element Studios is in control of a third person shooter called Decension. Thinking outside the box, this third-person shooter has new elements that no one has used in lieu with the Unreal Engine ever before many games today. Not only did they grow from a one man team to a strong thirteen person team, they have also produced spectacular graphics and managed to convey a unique way of playing that all gamers should see.
