Did Black Ops II’s next DLC pack just get leaked?
Update 6/19: DLC pack confirmed. Launching July 2nd on XBL for 1200 MSP ($15 USD)
With the last COD: Black Ops II DLC getting leaked in almost the exact same fashion, it’s hard to deny that this pack could definitely be the real deal. Posted to youtube, this video shows a poster with the details of the newest DLC pack “Vengeance”.
Call your own shots in Remedy’s ‘Quantum Break’
Remedy, the studio behind Alan Wake and Max Payne, is bringing us their newest title, Quantum Break. They are better known for Max Payne, however, which became a hit when it was first released. Remedy are not releasing Quantum Break as just a game, but the studio is also working to deliver a television series along with it.
D4 is a mystery with a twist
A game that got people talking back in 2010 was Deadly Premonition. It received very mixed reception, with some calling it a travesty while others hailed it as a terrific success. In fact it holds a record for the most critically polarizing survival horror. Now, Hidetaka Suehiro, who worked on Deadly Premonition, and Microsoft Studios bring us a new game, D4, to the Xbox One.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Gameplay Reveal
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was announced yesterday at E3 which came as a surprise to some as it’s previous game The Witcher 2: Assassin of Kings had was released only 2 years ago and re-released for Xbox 360 just last year. Never the less, Wild Hunt is set to bring you even more RPG goodness.
Leave burnt rubber on the tar in ‘Forza 5′
When the McLaren P1 rose up on stage, viewers immediately sat up and took notice. Whatever this game was, it had a gorgeous car sitting on stage for it. When the trailer opened and Forza 5 came rolling on screen, fans started cheering immediately. The car’s beauty was matched by the brand new graphics engine that Forza 5 was sporting.
Destiny hits big at E3
Bungie’s newest title, Destiny, make a big splash as they showed some overwhelming gameplay trailers and demo footage. While we know some of what Destiny is about there is plenty we still have to learn. Regardless of the mystery that surrounds the game, Bungie definitely knows they have a ht on their hands with the noise that was made last night.
Next-gen consoles allow direct console streaming
With the console war heating up, the combatants bring new features to the gaming table. Xbox One and PS4 both announced that the consoles will allow for online streaming direct from the console itself.
‘Sunset Overdrive’ mixes casual attitude with mayhem and blood
Taking place in a world suddenly affected by a catastrophe, Sunset Overdrive turns your city into one big playground. The city underwent this catastrophic event resulting in almost the entire city’s inhabitants dying or turning into mutants. It’s up to you to fight them off. An open world environment, the game takes the term “sandbox” to a whole new level. Go where you want, kill what you want, and turn this giant city into your personal amusement park. Parkour plays an important role in the story so you will see a lot of acrobatic moves, zip lining, running along walls, etc.
Xbox One resurrects fan favorite ‘Killer Instinct’
Killer Instinct, widely regarded as one of the best fighting games to have ever been created, is back after almost a 20-year hiatus. Revealed yesterday during the Microsoft global press conference at E3, that Killer Instinct will be introduced to the next-gen consoles on Xbox One.
Ryse: Son of Rome
As launch titles go, Ryse: Son of Rome is an impressive addition. The graphics are astounding and the only register your mind makes between cinematics and gameplay is the camera angle. Edges are crisp and the gore is both brutal and beautifully rendered.
Xbox One will launch this November at $499/€499/£429
We knew that the console would be in gamer’s hands before the end of the year. Microsoft has now given us a more specific date along with a price. Start saving now, it’s not going to be cheap.
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Microsoft revealed the newest Metal Gear Solid game The Phantom Pain at the MS Global media conference at E3 today. Starting off the show, MGS V shows Snake riding through the desert, kicking up dust and urging his horse on. After speeding up the gameplay a little bit, we see Snake jump into a jeep and head out of the quiet little town in hunt of his newest target.
Xbox 360 gets a facelift: Will be smaller and quieter
Microsoft is releasing a revised model of the 360. At the E3 event in Los Angeles they opened their press conference with the announcement that it will be available to buy right now.
Xbox One teams up with ‘Dew and Doritos’
Yes, you read that correctly. Mt. Dew and Doritos are apparently teaming up with Microsoft and Xbox One to create an “unprecedented experience.” Microsoft seems hell bent on acquiring any and all commercial companies to advertise for the Xbox One. It almost seems unreal how far they are willing to take this idea. Are they really in need of money that badly?
One thing is for sure, this “partnership” really doesn’t help the stereotype that all gamers do is stuff their faces with Doritos and drink gallons of Mt. Dew all day. Bravo Microsoft. You just set back the legitimacy of the gaming community about 5 years.

First assumed to be an error, Microsoft has confirmed that Fable III is now available free of charge on XBL Games-on-Demand. Try it out for yourself. Free is free, right?
Geoff Keighley tweets that E3 will reveal a “truly incredible” game
E3 is almost here and the hype train is running at full steam. Microsoft promises to reveal new IP’s, along with a few familiar next gen installments of established franchises at the LA gaming event. Sony will surely have a few aces up their sleeves to combat the inevitable battle between the two.
Microsoft responds to licensing, privacy, and connectivity concerns
After the Microsoft press conference revealing the Xbox One, gamers took note that very few questions had been answered in regards to the rumors that had been circulating the internet for months. Disjointed interviews after that conference held no enlightenment as there were conflicting reports each time a new interview surfaced, even if the interview was with the same person. Even more concerning, were some of the rumors that began to surface because of the press conference. Rumors such as the Kinect being always on and able to detect voice and player movements might lead to recorded and uploaded conversations, and the invasion of privacy that implied. Ultimately the press and fans alike came away with more headaches than reliable facts. Yesterday, Microsoft addressed several of the more common rumors.

Diablo III hits consoles on September 3rd
Blizzard has just announced that Diablo III, the continuation of the hack-n-slash RPG saga, is finally making its debut on consoles. Launching September 3rd for PS3 and Xbox 360, gamers can expect a custom-tailored version designed for d-pad interaction.

It looks like the release window of Dark Souls 2 might have been spoiled early by a massive poster of the game.
Possible PS4 and Xbox One game line-up leaked
A Swedish store has revealed a monster gaming line-up for Sony’s and Microsoft’s next gen consoles. Amongst the list of games are Agent, The Last Guardian and Uncharted 4 for PS4 while the Xbox One boasts the return of Project Gotham Racing and the recently revealed Forza 5 and Quantum Break.
Scorpion confirmed for Injustice DLC character
Since the game’s launch, there have been images and video showing the DLC roster from the Season Pass. One of these characters had nothing to do with DC comics, however, NetherRealms Studio is receiving a bit of homage from their past work on the Mortal Kombat franchise. Scorpion returns in his full flaming skull glory.
Halo 4 receives large multiplayer tune up
Beginning today June 3rd, Halo 4 has been given a very large matchmaking update. Weapons have been tweaked, vehicle damage has been changed, even player CMS has been given a boost. Welcome to Halo 4 Turbo.

Twitch hits the Xbox 360
If you spend your life on You Tube, you would notice that a good chuck of it is made up of gameplay videos. People play games and others watch them. It’s become a bit of a fad. We’ve been in conversations about said You Tuber playing said game and how amusing we found it. Twitch is a service that provides entertainment through streaming videos of people playing games. It’s hard to put it more simply than that.
