Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale preview
PlayStation all-stars battle royale come to you from Superbot Entertainment with one goal in mind: Bring together the most notorious PlayStation franchise characters together in one giant brawling game of awesome. Releasing for the PS Vita and PS3, this Sony exclusive may give players exactly what they need.
Over time franchises were created and let to rest while the memories were still in the hearts of you all – the gamers. Creating a scenario to combine all these franchises together along with players of all interests, PlayStation all-stars battle royale aims to please. Though some may feel this has been created before, you are mistaken. The principle may share some qualities with other releases but this is one of its own. The abilities and execution of gameplay are what makes it special, not just the roster or cross-play PS3/Vita capabilities.
The game is played is roughly involving five stages from many well-known Sony related franchises ranging from Ratchet and Clank to God of War. Interactive levels with dynamic damage are in store for us as well as weapons based on certain games. Not only this, but levels are combined forms of two different games. Hades in the background flailing about with patapon characters strutting across is just one possibility.
The roster of playable characters include Big Daddy from Bioshock, Cole MacGrath from Infamous, Colonel Radec from Killzone, Fat Princess from Fat Princess, Heihachi Mishima from Tekken, Jak and Daxter from Jak and Daxter, Kratos from God of War, Nathan Drake from Uncharted, PaRappa from PaRappa the Rapper, Sly Cooper from Sly Cooper, Sweet Tooth from Twisted Metal, and lastly Toro Inoue from Together Everywhere! Each character has their own move set with their own special attacks to unleash on your opponent.
Gameplay consists of certain factors in the game basically known as leveling specials. As you do damage your special meter builds and based on how far you let it build, you can use an attack based on what level your meter is. Each special attack is based on what character you pick – unlocking that secret love and passion of every character even further. With three different attack buttons, a throw button, double jump ability, and blocking to name a few controls, there is enough to keep each player busy.
The developers at Superbot created PlayStation all-stars battle royale with a love for fighting games. Not just handing out something that will keep players busy. With high hopes and promising gameplay they hope to create a franchise that all gamers can come to enjoy. While moves show a lot of power, they manage to keep them leveled with one another so there is no “best character”. With the feelings you have from each characters attributes, PASBR brings them together doing nothing less than keeping these feelings intact. Don’t let the anticipation get to you between now and late October 2012 though. If you’re a fan of any PlayStation title, this is a must have.
