Squid Grips, the new must-have controller accessory on the block. It’s designed for those tense gaming moments when your palms get sweaty and you can feel your hands slipping off the controller. Squid Grips are designed to stop this from happening.

We were lucky enough to snag ourselves a pair to review and we are pleased to say they are fantastic! The design of the product is unique in the way it wraps around the handles of you Dualshock 3 or  Xbox controller. They are made from a moisture-wicking technology which alleviates sweaty palms to improve your overall grip.

XBOX-360-17-mediumThey are surprisingly comfortable to handle and do not hinder your hand or finger movement at all. I found sticking them to my controller was a really simple process due to the quality of instructions that come with them. In the pack you also receive four badges to stick to your grips if you wish to as well as a cool bumper sticker to apply to whatever you see fit.

One thing that did concern us was that the grips might make our controllers look ugly.Sony-PS2-PS3-15-large It is true your controller doesn’t look as attractive after the grips are fitted but you’ll find the pros certainly outweigh the cons.

It’s fair to say Squid Grips won’t improve your skill level at whatever game you’re playing but it will give you the psychological boost you need when searching for that last minute winner on FIFA or if you’re trying to pull off a clutch on Gears of War. If you’re truly prepared to invest in these grips you will not be disappointed, a definite must buy for any gamer that classes themselves as hardcore.

You can pick up a pair of Squid Grips today from http://www.squidgrip.com/ they are priced at $14.99 .

We will be giving away a set of Grips for Xbox 360 and PS3 all you have to do is follow us on Twitter @gamingcapacity1 and on Friday 8th February we will announce the competition.
