Yoshi’s Woolly World Hands on Impressions

After the unimaginative slugfest that was Yoshi’s New Island, I was eagerly awaiting something new and fresh for the next Yoshi game. Woolly World came completely out of left field in Nintendo’s conference, and I wasn’t too enthralled. But the hands on demo changed my opinion completely as it has the potential to become the best family friendly co op game for the Wii U.

Hyrule Warriors Hands On Impressions

Looking at Hyrule Warriors from a distance makes it appear to be another typical Dynasty Warriors clone, even brandishing “Warriors” in its name to emphasis that it’s a shameless skin. But looking a little closer reveals that Hyrule Warriors is a little different. It takes the fundamental ideas from the DW series (I.E killing hoards of mindless enemies to build up special moves that clear the screen) and builds upon them by adding elements from the Zelda franchise.

One Piece Unlimited World Red Review

Written by Milo Fisher

One Piece has been going for over 15 years now, and yet has never managed to find a video game genre that fit it. The series would often borrow from other franchises for its video game adaptations (see One Piece Pirate Warriors 2) but would never dare to be original. Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon because I DON’T KNOW! Review

Adventure Time. Cartoon Network’s hit show about a boy and his dog. With a series with such a well crafted world and many memorable characters, it seems that a game set in the world would be fantastic. Sadly, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon because I DON’T KNOW isn’t the game fans have been waiting for.

The big question: Who won E3?

The biggest question that always comes out about E3 is “Who stole the show?” While it’s fun to discuss this with your buddies over XBL, PSN, or over a beer, the debate always gets fairly heated. It’s a very large scale, open-ended question that sometimes results in confused opinions and hate-laced rants. Millions of gamers watched the broadcasted conferences, demo streams, and interviews, but a vast majority of gamers rely on answering that big question. While it is very opinion-based, one thing is certain, a report based on who exactly won E3 can lead to larger sways in sales from mob mentality.
