Call of Duty Advanced Warfare Review

War. War never changes.

The Legend of Korra: The Video Game Review

The animated Avatar franchise has had a bad history with video game adaptations. Past games that focused on the series have all been shallow beat-‘em ups with little enjoyment other than fan service. The Legend of Korra hopes to right the wrongs of past games in the franchise by being an action packed 3D brawler that can appeal to anyone.

Dragon Ball Z Battle of Z Review

Words By Milo Fisher

Dragon Ball Z is one of the most beloved anime franchises in the western world. The expansive amount of content in the universe just begs to be turned into a video game. Battle of Z is the latest Dragon Ball game to grace our eyes, but is it worth charging you Ki for? Or should you teleport away?

Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon because I DON’T KNOW! Review

Adventure Time. Cartoon Network’s hit show about a boy and his dog. With a series with such a well crafted world and many memorable characters, it seems that a game set in the world would be fantastic. Sadly, Adventure Time: Explore the Dungeon because I DON’T KNOW isn’t the game fans have been waiting for.

Saints Row IV review – Hail to the Chief

Trying to describe Saints Row 4 is like trying to describe insanity itself, because for all intents and purposes, that’s what it is. Imagine a world where anything you want to do is possible, and anything you don’t want to do is also possible. Now take that world, toss it in a blender, add some bananas (K?), a few slices of chaos, and a dash of nud-oops, all of the nudity-, sit back and hit frappé. Once this glorious concoction of gleeful violence, murder, and mayhem settles, toss in some elements of The Matrix, any superhero comic/movie, Crackdown, and Prototype, and you’ve got yourself the newest Saints Row game.

Dynasty Warriors 8 review

The history of ancient China is filled with legends, mythology, and war. Sometimes the people even led normal lives. Dynasty Warriors attempted to use some of these aspects of the ancient world to make an enjoyable experience on your home console. Unfortunately, the key word was “attempted.” Dynasty Warriors 8 plays out as a rather boring experience with a tepid plot, lack of character development, and underwhelmingly simple combat system.

Microsoft update turns your MSP into a cash balance and gives you only a year to use it

With Microsoft rolling out the latest update for the Xbox 360, one of the biggest changes was implementing the rollover from Microsoft points to actual dollar figures. The goal being to eliminate the controversial policy that gamers have been upset with for more than 6 years. The unfortunate reality, is that it now comes with a stiff price.

Are you ready for some football? NCAA Football ’14 review

NCAA featured image

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y, NIGHT! “Welcome back sports fan. We’ve got an exciting matchup here for you today. Two long-time rivals going head-to-head to prove who the greatest college team on the gridiron really is.” Hearing announcements like this always puts a little spring in my step during the college football season. Nothing beats grabbing a few slices of pizza, cracking open a coke, and sitting down for a couple hours of my favorite team kicking the crap out of the other guy. Surprisingly, NCAA Football ’14 recreates that feeling pretty damn well.

Twitch hits the Xbox 360

If you spend your life on You Tube, you would notice that a good chuck of it is made up of gameplay videos. People play games and others watch them. It’s become a bit of a fad. We’ve been in conversations about said You Tuber playing said game and how amusing we found it. Twitch is a service that provides entertainment through streaming videos of people playing games. It’s hard to put it more simply than that.

Dark preview

Are you familiar with the word “Vampire”? If not, then you will be more than familiar with it by the time this preview is over. The word has become something to bring a bitter taste to ones mouth because of certain interpretations (not naming names, but hazard a guess).

Xbox 360 adds Pizza Hut app to consoles

Recently, we at Gaming Capacity had a satire piece about the new Xbox 720 being able to order pizza online while playing and have them deliver it to your door. While this seemed like a fairly obvious joke, apparently Microsoft and Pizza Hut were already planning this exact idea. We wish we were the ones behind the idea, because then we obviously would be rolling in cash, but this isn’t the case.

Diablo 3 on Console is the version fans waited for.

Diablo III Logo

Diablo 3 is coming to consoles as announced on the Sony press conference on February 20th. Blizzard finally showed some footage at Pax East last week-end and everyone was amazed how much better this version is compared to the PC one released last year.

Gears Of War: Judgement Preview

Gears of War: Judgment is the fourth instalment in the Gears of War franchise, surprisingly though it is a prequel to the original 2006 Gears of War. This time we will not be charging around Sera as Marcus Fenix or Domonic Santiago instead Damon Baird and Augustus Cole (Cole Train baby!) take centre stage. Which is fitting really since Epic Games have handed over development of the campaign to Polish, Bulletstorm developers People Can Fly. Meaning that Epic Games minus Rod Fergusson and Cliff Bleszinski will once again be responsible for multiplayer.

Ninja Theory, “Moving from Xbox to PS3 to multi was betrayal in some people’s minds”

In an interview with PSM3, Ninja Theory’s Tameem Antoniades answered to some critics opposition to a Devil May Cry reboot, “Nothing needs a reboot unless that reboot works. Look at Batman.
